As United wins their 13th FA CUP and Eric Ten Hag lifts his 2nd trophy in two years, the question is if Eric will soon be United's Manager next season.
Ten Hag in his first season won the League Cup, finished third in the Premier League, and was runner-up in the FA Cup. In his second season, he managed to get United to an FA Cup Final, and win it, but had a very poor league season that was marred with injury after injury. In fact, one could argue it was a miracle that United managed to get to a Cup final at all after all the injuries we faced this season.
How could a manager who has won two trophies in 2 years be even considered sacked, yet despite this the rumors are still flying high that the decision has already been made and Eric's days are over as United's Manager.
In our Opinion here at Reds United Eric deserves another season.
What do the Fans and pundits want, Eric has one 2 out of 3, yes we had a bad league season but the injuries are the main reason we didn't do better, we were never going to lift the league title and yes we may not be in the Champions League but nobody seriously thinks we could win it next year but qualifying for the Europa Cup gives us a real chance of European Silverware next season.
United can take this opportunity and build from here, strengthen the squad, sort out the fitness levels and go on and take another step further.
Sacking Eric resets everything and the project begins again.
