At Old Trafford, Zeki Amdouni's late penalty kick saved a precious point for relegation-threatened Burnley in the Premier League, costing Manchester United's goalkeeper Andre Onana's team the win.

Even though Erik ten Hag's team put on yet another lackluster performance, Antony's well-taken goal in the 79th minute gave them hope for the win.

However, Onana recklessly charged off his line to try and punch the ball clear, only to hit a rival player, much as he did on the opening day against Wolves.

Referee John Brooks did not see the incident in real time, although he was replaced by video assistant referee Peter Bankes, unlike in the match against Wolves. After getting caught in the wrong side of Onana's fist, substitute Amdouni made a move that confused the keeper.

While this was going on, United hasn't won a league game in a row since February. As new technical director Jason Wilcox was present, the home crowd booed when the game ended, though not as loudly as when Ten Hag decided to substitute teenage midfielder Kobbie Mainoo after 65 minutes.

Anthony possessed Arijanet Muric was the target of an early shot that came from the area's edge. Another one beat the far post and the Burnley keeper. Antony believed it was the best approach to handle a 70-yard pass that dropped into his path, so he laid a pass to Aaron Wan-Bissaka with his shoulder in between that and another long-range attempt.

Nonetheless, his objective merited praise. The Burnley man appeared to be pushing Antony over in an attempt to make apologies, but the Brazilian managed to maintain his footing long enough to hit the net. He responded to Sander Berge's misdirected pass the quickest.
